The staff is great in this unique Cafe. This is not a fast food restaurant, so expect to wait in line as you place the order that will he made individually for you. Ant Farm is a well kept, community gathering place. It's light and airy with local artist displays on the walls.. Because it is NOT a dedicated gluten free restaurant, Celiacs take their chances. I go in a few times a year for their BLT sandwich. The GF bread is nicely toasted and the sandwich tastes great! I've never had a noticeable reaction but I realize there are silent reactions. I eat out SO very seldom it's a treat that I can actually walk to! There are absolutely no dedicated restaurants on the Portland East side beyond the city center. Anywhere I go will be a risk. Additionally, Ant Farm has a mission working with at risk youth through Americor, so occasionally, I will take the risk
