Very little on the menu was available to me but I knew that would b the case going in. Had a small salad, which waiter assured me would be safe. I think there was slight cross contamination or maybe white vinegar in something bc I experienced some digestive issues that were solved by taking like 8 gluten ease. I'm incredibly sensitive to gluten so many people would probably have no problems at all.
Amazing experience every single time. We’ve eaten at both restaurants (upstairs and downstairs). They don’t denote GF on the menu but there are so many GF options and they can modify so many dishes to be GF. They always take it very seriously and make me feel very safe eating there.
Apero and La Boheme started out as a little coffee shop with a lot of ambience in our neighborhood. Now they have a cafe and a full restaurant! We’ve had coffee and espresso there (gf); appetizers and cocktails (gf and/or modified to be gf); and now also brunch (gf options). It’s a small, vaguely French menu, and they are very aware of good preparation protocols. I was able to have the savory potato waffle without becoming ill, so I trust their prep. The menu is small, so be sure to look at it online to be sure you’ll find something appealing. The ambience is well worth it (check out the back patio, which is semi-enclosed) for a special occasion, even though there are only maybe four gf menu options.
