The best meal I had the entire trip around the Dalmatian coast. We went outside of high season so didn’t need a reservation but the food was cooked to perfection and the waiter was knowledgeable about what could be made GF and they offered GF buns for the burgers. Well worth the money and wish we had a chance to go again before our flight home!

in detail: We came in a group of 5 and had a delightful dinner. We didn’t book in advance and were lucky enough to get a table anyway. The main waiter pointed out that our time would be limited as it was booked for another group later that evening, and we agreed on the conditions. Despite the „short“ time slot, we‘ve had a very pleasant experience. Not at any point did we feel rushed, quite the opposite. The main waiter took his time for recommendation and friendly small talk. As I need to follow dietary requirements I had some questions about the food/dishes that have all been accommodated for- which I highly appreciate given it is a small restaurant with limited kitchen space. Remarkable customer service!! And the food too was incredibly delicious! It was prepared from scratch with fresh and high quality ingredients. The meat was tender and rich in taste, the veggies still had some bite. The sauce was a well-balanced addition that complimented the meat & veg without interfering with the ‚natural‘ flavours of the single parts that made up the dish. It was presented nicely and all in all it made an enjoyable and tasteful meal. All members of the group were highly satisfied with their meal. Range of menu is small but exquisite, price absolutely justified. Side notice: regardless of who the customer is (family with small children, elderly couple or visitors for a day like us), every member of the waiting staff was sincerely sympathetic and respectful. I was impressed by the relaxed, friendly and yet noble character of this restaurant. Highly recommend this place! (We‘ve made a booking for another dinner straight away)
