Review of Apothecary Restaurant

After a second visit I inquired about their local bread that they bring in, (it's mentioned on their website about local bread)and was told by the waitress it's from a local restaurant called Chocolate Maven. I was very surprised about this fact, and after having two email conversations with a woman from Chocolate Maven about their kitchen techniques with gluten, she insisted that anyone with Celiac disease should not be eating their bread. She said they share ovens and there's way too much flour flying around to consider it safe. After these conversations Apothecary needs to inform their customers and a change of 'dedicated' gluten free should be changed.
