Review of Applebee's

Applebee's does have a limited gluten free menu on their website, but their offerings are pretty disappointing. I went there for drinks and appetizers (not a meal, so can't comment on whether the GF meals are good) and couldn't get anything to eat because they don't have a separate fryer. No appetizers are safe, not even the chips and queso (because the chips are fried). I don't get the impression that they are allergy-friendly, especially because they list chips and queso and fries on their GF menu...but since these items are fried in a shared fryer, they aren't safe for anyone with more than a mild intolerance. I'd be hesitant to eat any of the food here.
