I’d give it 3 1/2 stars. The menu has GS to mark gluten sensitive (I’ll attach photos), but the menu also mentions shared oil in the fine print, so those marks are misleading if you’re celiac. They have fries and stuff with tortilla chips marked as gluten sensitive even though they’re fried in the same fryer as everything else, so I opted to stay away from anything fried just in case. The waiter did say nothing was guaranteed, but the chefs are very careful and change their gloves. I got the grilled chicken breast which comes with garlic mashed potatoes and green beans. It was pretty good, although maybe the most boring thing on the menu. Haha. The mashed potatoes were very good, but there was a “skin” on the potatoes like the purée had sat for a while and dried out a little. I didn’t get sick—just a little indigestion after, but no big reaction. Overall, I’d come here again if a family event was there, but I wouldn’t choose it myself because of the fairly limited options and misleading Gluten Sensitive marks.

"As America’s Favorite Neighbor, the health and safety of our guests are top priorities at Applebee’s. As part of our commitment to you, we provide the most current allergen information available from our food suppliers on eight common allergens plus gluten and added monosodium glutamate (MSG), so that our guests with food allergies can make informed food selections. Please be aware that during normal kitchen operations involving shared cooking and preparation areas, including common fryer oil, the possibility exists for food items to come in contact with other food products. Due to these circumstances, we are unable to guarantee that any menu item can be completely free of allergens."
Love Applebees! Not a variety of choices, but it’s still accommodating.

My husband and I eat at this location often, it is one of my few trusted restaurants. The staff is always very nice and understanding of my needs having celiac disease. I have very few places I trust, this particular Applebees is on my short list.

Both my child and I were able to eat here safely and work no problem. Tasty, too: had the Burbon Street chicken and riblets.

Do not eat here! My family has eaten here a few times over the years and one of the six of us always ends up with food poisoning. Just do not do it?

Stopped in for dinner. Asked the host if they have anything gluten free. She looked confused and said no. We left I was very disappointed
