This place is a dream - everything gluten free and does not at all taste like it. So much love and care goes into the food - my celiac daughters devoured the pita, pizza, pasta …. Heaven! And interesting dishes for the grownups too. Highly recommend.

Perfect for celiacs! Owner said no gluten is allowed in his restaurant! Food was phenomenal. I had the goat cheese ravioli, my parents had pizza, and my brothers had the black mushroom risotto & stuffed squash. My family and I were able to pass around plates and try each other’s food… all of which was delicious. My family was more than happy to go back and eat arba again later in the vacation! Vacations can be difficult for celiacs, I always hate the pressure that comes with the responsibility of choosing restaurants that are safe for me but also fun, affordable, and appetizing for the rest of my family, but Arba nailed it! My family commented that they couldn’t even tell that it was 100% gluten free and that level of dedication allowed me to relax and focus on being present in the table conversations. <3

I did not enjoy the food. I ordered ravioli it was cold and flavorless. On the positive side the desserts were good.

SO GOOD and tragically expensive. The za’atar pita is unreal — I didn’t realize how much I’d missed pita until I had it. The entrees were all out of my budget and I wish I could have tried them, but wow that pita and the apricot rugelach were tasty.

Just be warned that you only get one single 7-inch pita when you order a dip 😭

I will edit if I get glutened, but the website is very clear that they’re dedicated gf so I’m not worried :)

Excellent food for all! My family was excited to find this entirely GF restaurant on our trip to NYC and how friends with us who do not need to be GF also loved it. Everything we had was superb!

It’s a great opportunity to have many foods that are challenging to make at home and hard to find GF. From pastas and pita bread to great pizza, fish, vegetables … and don’t forget amazing dessert.

We were also able to purchase some GF bakery items to take home with us as in the morning this is an entirely GF bakery with both breakfast & lunch options.

Everything in the restaurant is gluten free and kosher. (It’s Modern Bread and Bagel by day, Arba by night). I had a pizza and it was delicious, not at all like the cardboard-y tasting stuff you get at a lot of places. My friend sampled a few sides and loved them all. And, an unexpected bonus, the server brought us a few muffins/cupcakes that had been leftover from the day at modern. Delicious and highly recommend this place for dinner!

Delicious! I had an incredible meal at Arba and was brought back to the days before my celiac disease diagnosis when I could relax in a restaurant without worrying. The food is top-notch and the staff is friendly. Can’t wait to return.

No gluten or wheat used in the establishment (unsure about beverages; we just drank water). INCREDIBLE food. The pizza was the best pizza I’ve ever tasted, even out of the glutinous pizzas from my former life. (My dad, who can eat gluten, also agreed it was the best pizza he’s ever had.) They also had GF raviolis and gnocchi!! Friendly staff, as well. I will be going back there every single time I visit NYC.

I have tried the tomato/mozzarella/herb pizza, the spinach/artichoke/mozzarella pizza, the marinara/mozzarella/eggplant/ricotta calzone, and the flatbread with hummus. It was all delicious and I will 100% be going back again. Everything is gluten free (there are also vegan options) and it is so good it all tastes like non-GF food.

The service was excellent. Dedicated gf facility. The flatbread pizza was fantastic! The lox are incredibly fresh, which makes for a great topping for their quality bagels. Raviolis were very good - but pricey. Worth the splurge because it is difficult to find really good gf ravioli.

This was literally the best gluten free pizza I ever had. I had a regular cheese pizza with ricotta cheese added and it was everything. Wouldn’t even think it was gluten free.

Food is excellent!! Restaurant service is horrible. We live close by and have gone several times at different times of day. I waited to be seated without any acknowledgment that we Were even there for 10mins. Someone came out of the kitchen and pointed at us and still no one came to greet us! The tables were not cleaned. We waited forever for our food and a check. There is plenty of staff but they wander around or are on their cell phones. Please find someone to run your restaurant well.

A bit disappointed. Only because I had higher expectations. I went with a meet up group, so it was family style fixed menu items. Although they said they could accommodate vegans, I felt like a second thought tonight. I had the pita with dips, which was the best part of the meal but now I’m questioning if the pita is really vegan (dips are). The vegan pizza (spinach and sauce only) wasn’t great. The vegan dessert was non existent until another guest that’s dairy free asked the meet up organizer (after asking 3 different servers). Overall food was so so and service about the same.

Our waitress Lexie was new but totally helpful and professional about which options were also dairy free. There is an entire vegan menu! Breads and dips were fantastic, but main course was a bit lacking in flavor. Everything was FANTASTIC. 100% repeat customer. Love having this totally Celiac-friendly restaurant around. AND, it’s totally on-point Israeli food!

It’s somewhat uneven. The small dishes such as the hummus, roast peppers are good. Bread is outstanding. But the main courses have been a disappointment. Big portions but not that interesting. Rather there were smaller portions and more thought to the seasoning.

Can I give this 10 stars???? What a fabulous experience we had with everything 100% gluten free and kosher 'the service was warm and friendly and the sommelier (!!!!) knowledgeable and personable. I would recommend you pace yourself...I was full for 2 days! Can not wait to go back! Save me a seat!
