Arepas are gluten free. I found the only vegetarian option pretty unsatisfying.

Meats are marinaded in GF soy sauce and arepas are safe except for ones with plantains. They are fried in the same frier as the tequeños which are wrapped in pastry dough. Kitchen is careful with cross contamination if you call ahead or make note of it on a delivery app. Also the food is delicious!

The food was amazing and the arepas are gluten free. They seemed very knowledgeable about what was safe. There were a couple meats cooked in a tomato sauce that they weren’t sure from the packaging if it was gluten free so made a substitution for me and my food was fantastic. Can’t wait to go back.

This place is the bomb. Super cheap and gluten free. I fux with that
Great collection of tasty handmade Arepas. Veggie and meat options. Cute casual and fast little Venezuelan spot in the University district.
Small kitchen raises risk for cross contamination as they also have empanadas and taquenos which are flour and fried.
I have eaten here many times, and never had a problem. they are fast, cheap, friendly, and delicious. I am also a vegetarian and very much disagree with the other review- first, there are two veg entree options on the menu, but also you can add or subtract toppings from any arepa. my meat-eating companions have always enjoyed themselves tremendously, and there are amazing (non-alcoholic) drinks and even GF dessert (an AMAZING flan!)
