Stopped by for a quick lunch. Was not disappointed! So many options of arepas to choose from- I got a vegetarian one with beans and cheese and a chicken, avocado, and cheese arepa. Plantains are in a shared fryer with empanadas which are not GF. Staff is helpful to answer questions. Messy to eat but so delicious! Didn’t get sick, highly recommend!
I went with someone else, and we tried the empanadas (carne mechada and queso), yucca fritters, and trio of mini arepas (carne mechada, queso, and caprese). I only tried the vegetarian options, but we both agreed that the empanadas were the best part of the meal. I would try the arepas again but found the yucca fritters to be a bit too mild for me. The website clearly marks what is gluten-free and vegetarian, and I felt very safe eating here. No reaction!
