This place has been on my list to try for about 6 months. Got a mix of the empanadas and the Pabellon arepa. Truthfully, the empanadas were mediocre. They were quite small and overpriced for what you get as the filling inside was very minimal and they were lacking flavor. There’s much better options out there if you’re looking specifically for empanadas. However, the arepa was excellent. What they lacked in the empanadas, they made up for with the arepa. I mean, this thing was overflowing with toppings and bursting with flavor. Excellent portion size and value - this thing was filling! It’s clearly their specialty, hence their name. Make sure you have a ton of napkins as it was a bit messy to eat, but I highly recommend the arepa. Will definitely be going back to try the other arepa options. The staff were also very friendly and attentive. Give this place a try!

Arepas Ranch in Avenida Food Hall is soo delicious. I got the patacon pisao, which is a sandwich (with your choice of meat) made out of plantains. For $18.77, I assumed it came with ONE, like the Heaven restaurant on 17th. It came with TWO and they were delicious (Heaven only has their pataconwiches on Mondays and Tuesdays). I didn’t enjoy their yuca fries honestly, the ones at Heaven are way better. But I 10/10 recccomend these delicious sandwiches! Also, for those that can’t do cheese, I switched my cheese for extra avocado 🥑 — at Arepa’s Ranch
