The menu notes items that contain gluten since most is gluten free. The wait staff told me that they have a dedicated GF fryer. The food was amazing and the service excellent. Everyone loved their choices especially the arepas and empanadas. Will definitely be back! (Posting on behalf of my son with Celiac who is very sensitive.)

Food was amazing! Service was friendly! Cute restaurant! The restaurant has so many gluten free options. I got the Arepa Pelua- the shredded beef tasted so good and tender. Very flavorful! My husband got the Arepa Camaron and said it was delicious! If I lived here, I would definitely come back again and again!

I’ve eaten here around 7 times with no issues! I highly recommend the Santa Barbara Arepa! It’s so good. The sauce that comes with it is also gluten free.

Delicious and fun, celiac friendly Venezuelan restaurant, wide menu with so many GF options, that they mark the items that include gluten. Highly recommended, great taste, fun atmosphere, very friendly staff. Simply great.

Delicious food! So happy to find a place for dinner. I hope they’ll consider adding a gf dessert. Til then consider ordering Mandocas and ask for a side of sugar. Like churros!

So many gluten free options. Almost everything is gf naturally so if it’s not, it’s marked that it has gluten. Servers knowledgeable abt cross contamination. Also the food is sooooo good. My daughter has celiac and is 3 and ate everything. Also the rest of us non celiac loved it as much if not more than her! Can’t wait to go back.

Numerous gluten free items on the menu, all clearly marked. I had two arepas and a basket of fries. All tasty and filling. Outdoor seating with propane heaters is a great bonus for covid safety. I'm looking forward to returning here regularly.

The first time I called the restaurant I had a hard time getting details about gluten safety procedures. Therefore I contacted the owner, Joanna, who kindly explained everything. Most of the items are gluten-free and the are brought in from an external facility, so there is very little possibility of cross-contact. Joanna to be familiar with the concept of cross-contact and assured me that many people who are concerned about gluten eat at the restaurant. When I visited the restaurant my server was knowledgeable about gluten and reassured me about the items I ordered.
