GF&DF arepas! Vegan options. All the sauces are GF--the Amarillo is my fave :)

Empanadas are made gf but cross contaminated in shared fryer.

Ate there about a year ago while staying nearby. Found it the first night we arrived and loved it so much we went back twice.

Previously came here and ate without any issues. This time, I saw plantains and churros clearly in the same fryer (despite other reviews mentioning that staff assures a separate fryer is used). Staff also placed wheat-based empanadas on the same cutting board as the arepas.

I only realized this after I’d paid for the arepa I’d gotten, but decided to take my chances and eat the arepa anyway. Currently having stomach upset. Whatever is going on, it doesn’t seem like the current staff understands safety for Celiacs.

This place was great! All the Areppas “bread” are corn based and gluten free. All the fillings are GF. They did have bottled regular beer and empanadas and churros that didn’t look GF, but they were in a separate show case and didn’t touch the Areppas and fillings. Great place for a quick bite on the go in the big city.

Very good. I had the green one with pulled pork and plaintains and beets. Lots of filling, and tasted yummy. I got the sauce that looks like aiololi sauce.Service was very helpful with helping me select.

A quick-fast casual restaurant. Be sure to come in and try one of their fabulous Arepas, maize cakes with mouth-watering fillings. The choice of drinks is also wide. 5 of 5.

This is one of the best places to go in NY for a cool arepas. We had a great dinner at a reasonable price. The arepas are delicious as are the fillings. Service was fast, and our waiter was very helpful! Fun place to eat.

We never knew Arepas can be so delightful! Great presentation, quality, taste, & worth it every penny! They a great variety of arepas and they were very tasty! I had a vegan version of one of their main dishes and was very happy with the way it turned out. Their main dish is somewhat of a sandwich, where the bun is like cornbread but in the shape of an English muffin. Sooo good.

Very good food, friendly service. Small space, but cozy. Lots of interesting items on the menu. We went with some friends, everyone ordered something and we all split the items. I would recommend this, because there are so many good choices on the menu.

I am a vegetarian, so I often face difficulties in choosing the place to eat out. I was delighted to see that here all eaters are welcome. I couls choose the filling for my Arepa myself, and besides they do offer the ready vegan variants, which seemed great. The choice of healthy fresh drinks is also wide. I liked the place, really recommend it.

They serve healthy latin cuisine food, mainly Arepas – corn flour pockets, stuffed like pitas. All the ingredients are fresh and full-flavored, as exceptionally top local ingredients are used.

After searching and reading the reviews we found out that place at 954 3rd Avenue. The menu is limited, the food is SO good. I have never had better arepas. There is always a queue, and for a reason. It¡¯s super fresh, super tasty, and cheap. Best Latin fast food place!

Delicious! The flavor in the areppa were subtle and tasty. The team was very kind and the menu is clearly labeled for what is “safe”. They even changed gloves for me! Definitely a great place to visit for lunch or a snack!

Basically a sandwich type place: they DO have desserts and another item which HAS gluten. They assured me those items are prepared offsite and heated in its own pan. “Sandwich “ bread base they use was too dried up to eat Maybe good place to eat in an emergency.
