Review of Arlene's on Asbury

I've been going to Arlene's for a few years, and have always enjoyed the GF menu, but after this weekend I will not return. While waiting for the bathroom during the breakfast rush, I watched in horror as the GF breads were laid on the contaminated kitchen counter and passed between staff members with bare hands. I also saw the same batter being used for regular and GF French toast, and GF pancakes made on the same griddle as gluten. They were very busy, but that's absolutely no excuse for betraying their celiac customers in that manner, after repeatedly assuring us of their precautions. Terrible, terrible kitchen practices.
