Had high hopes for this place but it wasn’t safe for me :(
I’m a highly sensitive celiac, and I told them so in my reservation notes but it was clear when we got there that no one had read them. However, the staff was super kind and accommodating- very willing to make changes to a dish and double check on ingredients.
I’ve had issues with nuts and legumes in the past (as they often get cross contaminated during manufacturer processing), and they left them off the dishes I ate after they confirmed they weren’t certified gluten free. The food was delicious, but unfortunately the next morning I had a reaction. It’s definitely on the milder side and I am *very* sensitive, but sadly I can’t say that this restaurant is safe for celiacs.
The food was lovely and the restaurant had a nice vibe. I got the duck which was on a stick. That was interesting, but it was actually really good. Staff seemed to know what they were doing and I didn't get sick. It's been a few days (I've learned my lesson when posting reviews)
They don't have a dedicated Gluten Free Menu, but as the waiter said they don't have any hidden gluten ingredients, the ingredients you read is what you get. I informed them I was Celiac and they were very conscious of that and even confirmed that both me and my partners meals were celiac friendly. The food is amazing and the service was too!
