Great food! Cross contamination likely. Big fan of his wings and pizza. Eating here since 2015. Have celiacs, but for a once and a quarter splurge, I am here. Joe makes his own crust, so it’s not that typically bland taste. The owner, is a great conversationalist and used to play for the Chiefs. He’s open to answer any questions you may have and is often there.
We had the pizza twice while in KC - the first time we had it delivered to the hotel and I had a tummy ache but I was willing to blame it on the travel. The second night we actually went to the restaurant and the waitress was very little help, said they normally don’t cook the GF crust separate but she’d do us a favor and “hook it up this time”.... got very sick after that and realized it was my fault for eating somewhere that doesn’t have those policies in place to begin with. Not safe!
