Asahi Japanese Steak & Sushi

Tried this hibachi because we were in the area for an event and needed dinner. Yelp reviews indicated they could handle gf. Waitress immediately marked our spot at the table when I asked for gf. She also went to confirm in kitchen if miso soup was gf (it’s not, nor is the ginger salad dressing). Hibachi chef came out and confirmed again our gf status and showed the gf sauce bottle. He cooked all the gf food in a separate pile once the sauce came out. However, the same cooktop was used repeatedly for gf and regular sauces, so it’s not as safe as I would like for cross-contamination risk. Did not order sushi so can’t speak to that.
