First restaurant I ate at after finding out I have celiac. I ordered the Bahn Mi bowl and asked questions about soy and gluten. The owner told me no soy or gluten in the bowl. I started eating and it tasted like soy sauce but he said no so I ate it. Within a short time I got sick AND had an allergic reaction. He wasn’t honest about what was in the food. He stared at us our whole meal. All around a very uncomfortable experience. I googled this dish and it often has meat/veggies marinated in soy sauce. I got sick from eating here (soy sauce wasn’t GF).
They didn’t take me seriously at all and I got food I believed to be GF but it wasn’t. I was sick from gluten AND an allergic reaction.
Don’t eat here if you have celiac or allergies.
