They offer gluten free options but if you try to order GF on the lunch menu they still up charge to full dinner plates…. So a lunch for two goes up to 65 bucks for 3 items ordered…. Not worth it plus I get glutenated…..

We get takeout from Asian star about once a month. I have never gotten sick and I am very sensitive. The staff cares and always confirms it was made gluten free for me! The best!

I have been going to Asian Star for almost 15 years now and it never disappoints! The good is tasty and their is a wide selection of gluten free items. I always go with the tangerine chicken and it is super tasty! Have never gotten sick here and cannot recommend this place enough! For appetizers, you can ask for the lettuce wraps to be gluten free and they will even let you order half gluten free half normal. The only different with gluten free is that the lettuce wraps don't come with soy sauce, but they provide gluten free soy sauce that you can put on yourself that is very tasty! Cannot recommend this place enough!

I’ve eaten at this Asian restaurant several times and have not been sick. Great selection of gluten free choices, including vegetarian gluten free. My favorite dish is the steamed fish 🐠 with spicy ginger sauce

I am very sensitive to small traces of gluten and I ate here and didn’t have any reaction. The food was amazing and I definitely will be going back again!

The first time I ate there I had a great experience and didn't get sick. The second time the waiter seemed to brush me off when I was explaining my condition, and then I got sick. Eat at your own risk.

We absolutely love Asian Star! They have a dedicated kitchen for their gluten free menu. My husband has never gotten sick there (he has Celiacs). Their food is so tasty!

I had the tangerine chicken. It was breaded and fried and served in an orange sauce. It was amazing. I didn't get glutened! I had loved Chinese food before I was diagnosed and it was so fun to have an old favorite. Huge serving sizes and price was reasonable.

I would go back to Asian Star. I’m celiac and ordered from their Gluten free menu. The food was excellent and the staff was knowledgeable about gluten free foods. I wasn’t sick after eating there!!

I have tried every item on there gluten free menu and have never had a single problem. I've enjoyed their food and I've enjoyed their service. I've been going there once a week for the last few weeks to try different items each time and I've never once gotten sick from any of them. It's so wonderful to be able to eat Chinese food again.

I'm not sure why everyone is giving this place such a great review. I had one of the worst experiences ever.

We ordered as a group for takeout and this place was chosen because two of us are diagnosed celiacs. All the food came in one box. It was all completely unlabeled, so we had no idea what was gluten free and what wasn't (this was after we specifically mentioned that we had gluten free for an allergy). We had to use process of elimination and non-celiac taste testers to identify our food. We did eventually find our food. It was decent, but not great. However, we both got sick. I'm not sure if they didn't use a separate frier or if it wasn't gluten free at all, but it definitely is not worth going to.

Amazing Walnut Shrimp. My daughter, also celiac, got her date to take her there. She loves the Walnut Chicken. I am extremely sensitive. I eat here and one other place.

Ate here a couple months ago - it was my favorite place before celiac and I was so happy they had gluten free options. I don’t know how I react to gluten but I didn’t get sick and it was SO good! (I got the gf Kung pao chicken)

This is my one of my favorite sit down Chinese restaurants ever. They have a dedicated section of gluten free on the back of their normal menus. Both their white and brown rice are gluten free. Their lettuce wraps are also gluten free and delicious and they even let you do half and half, so you can get half gluten free and half normal. my personally favorite dish is the Tangerine chicken. I have never gotten sick here before.

I was excited to find out that this restaurant had a gluten free menu. However, I had serious CROSS CONTAMINATION and was sick for days. If you have a sensitivity to gluten or Celiac Disease I would not recommend this restaurant.

Food was good but I had some serious cross contamination. I asked the server if what I ordered was in fact gluten free (i.e. precaution taken to prevent CC) She quickly answered yes, but I'm not certain if she really understood what I meant. It's iffy on whether or not I will go again.

Amazing Chinese restaurant with great GF menu and excellent service!

An excellent meal...great food! The back of their menu has the GF offerings. I've eaten several of the GF options and they've all been great. You need to tell the waitress you need to have GF. They'll also bring you some San-J Tamari, which is great GF soy sauce. You can't go wrong here!!
