I love it here! A woman and he husband own the place and the woman has Celiac! They have made more and more of their food Gluten Free over the past few years (I've been going there for teriyaki for a while!). I think the only things that aren't GF are egg rolls and a few noodle dishes. All of her meat dishes are gluten free. Sweet and Sour chicken is GF and SO GOOD. They know how important safe food is!
Don't eat here, I got food poisoning from this place long time ago. Best gluten free teriyaki and Chinese food is at Best Teriyaki off 160th st in Bothell kingsgate area, never one have I had a reaction or food poisoning. I've had my fair share of good Chinese and Teriyaki and Best Teriyaki is the spot!! trust me it will be your go to for Chinese or Teriyaki!!!
Like the others. Owner is celiac. They even have GF Chicken Katsu now.
Owner has celiac, very knowledgeable! All the sauces are gf and msg free
Amazing! The owner has celiac! I'm really sensitive & never worry about getting sick
The owner has her own gluten intolerance or celiac so she's very very careful with her food. I am highly sensitive and I have never had a problem here!!
Good options, but a bit unnerving to see regular soy bottles without labels. And there are gluten items prepared in the kitchen. I enjoyed my meal, and did not feel ill after.
Amazing food! Knowledgeable staff, one of the owners is Celiac. Food tastes great!
Yummy!!! We had the Orange chicken and the sweet and sour and it was delicious. The owner was very helpful and shared that she also has celiacs. It's so nice to have great Chinese food without the worry of getting sick. The owner shared some of the GF teriyaki chicken and it was so amazing. We plan to come back to have it as our entree!
I always feel safe eating here. Having that peace of mind that I won't get sick is almost as good as the food!
Thank goodness this place showed up on this app. After a rainy soccer Saturday morning my family ended up here. The little lady behind the counter was warm and friendly. We didn't mind the wait, because it meant that the food was going to be good. I'm the only one in my family of 4 that has to have gf, but everyone was able to make happy choices here.
So good! Owner has celiac. Lots of options!
This place is incredible. So many GF options and the owner is so nice! A must stop anywhere in Seattle.
Delicious!! Very casual strip mall joint is by far the BEST GF Asian food I've tried yet! I had rice noodle yakisoba. Two meals worth plus my husband ate some. My husband had a beef veggie Korean dish that was equally as good. Will be going back to have the short ribs!! Very little items on the menu are not GF (egg rolls, gyoza, tempura). Owner is happy to make nearly any dish you want GF. She's celiac too and makes ALL the sauces from scratch to prevent chance of hidden gluten. Very friendly & helpful!
Owner is Celiac and very friendly!! She mentioned how expensive it is to advertise and pay employees so her and her husband run the business themselves, making all of the food from scratch daily. Because of this they can keep the prices low and the food is amazing. My husband loves General Tso's Chicken and it was incredible!
Over 50 gf options. I go once a week.
Finally an Asian food restaurant that caters as much as possible to GF. The owner herself is celiac and understands the plight. The Mongolian Beef is great. My kids love the sweet and sour chicken. It's not sticky over powering sweet either. The owner works hard to offer as many GF options--as much as she tried she isn't able to offer GF Gyoza or Katsu. All other dishes are GF and delicious.
I love the people and the flavors but I was absolutely glutened eating here. I hate to have to say it because the food is fantstic. So much so that I had been there 4 times in a few weeks (never go out to eat I'm not super trusting of other people preparing my food). The final time they were very busy and mistakes happen I get that but it is unacceptable to me to have a sign on your door advertizing gf and still make those mistakes. Also kind of sketched out by Gf soy sauce being put in old regular soy sauce bottles and labeled with tape.
I went on a Saturday and ordered the GF Teriyaki Chicken. I got my food right away with no wait at all. It was delicious! Will definitely be going back.
For some reason I thought this place would be a little up scale. Gladly I was wrong. This is your typical teriyaki joint.Yay!!! Just ran by a friendly Asian woman with celiac. She only serves GF soy and teriyaki. There are a few items on the menu with gluten, but she'll gladly tell you what to avoid.
We enjoyed the food and the owner is super sweet! I wish we lived closer😊
58 gluten free dishes here! Very nice owner who makes tons if fresh dishes. Worth the drive from Seattle.
This place is awesome. It tastes so good! The owner is super nice and she is Celiac so she understands the risks of food preparation. The food is cooked fresh to order and everything taste so good. Sue, the owner, brought out some of the teriyaki sauce she uses so I could see what kind it was. It's a very friendly place and will definitely become a favorite for us. It's really cool to find something that I missed so much after getting diagnosed.
The owner Sue was AWESOME the place is very friendly, felt like I was with FAMILY. DEFINITELY going back!
Celiac friendly, delicious GF Chinese food. Friendly owner (Sue), reasonably priced. Highly recommend.
BEST PLACE IN ENTIRE SEATTLE AREA for all teriyaki - and almost all can be made Gluten Free. Full menu of teriyaki and Chinese dishes - Sue the owner even makes an incredible sweet and sour chicken, rice noodle yakisoba and my favorite chicken veggie stir fry- all GF. It was the best discovery for us when we found Sue and Asiana Bistro when our son was diagnosed with Celiac - eating foods that he missed really was great for his recovery and the rest of us love it too- it's truly the hidden gem!
Saw the big GF sign in the window. So friendly! So many options. It's been so many years since I had chicken teriyaki. No MSG or gluten. It's so good! I will be back many times!
The owner is a friendly woman with both celiac and lactose intolerance. Their menu includes most of the (hard-to-find GF) typical chinese-american dishes, like general Tso's and Kung Pao chicken. It's also the first place I've found GF teriyaki in the area. They can make most everything GF minus gyoza and wonton dishes.
