Called ahead. They seemed aware with a gluten free menu and safety protocol. We asked for a manager when we arrived, that manager actually has celiac disease. Put my mind at ease as he said he would oversee items in the kitchen. But.. the gluten free menu has chips and queso. The chips are in a shared fryer. Our waitress realized it and saved us.
I was really impressed! I asked for a gluten free menu and let the waitress know it was due to a medical condition. The General Manager came out to talk through the menu with me and let me know that what I ordered did have soy sauce. The left the soy sauce off and the food was fantastic. I would HIGHLY recommend!
The gluten free menu is brought out to you by the manager who is very knowledgeable about everything on the menu. We’ve been twice now and both times it was the same manager and both times she checked the plate before it went out to ensure that everything was correct. The first time we went, I ordered steak with a blue cheese crown not knowing that it had bread crumbs, but she caught it before it left the kitchen. The second time I went, I knew to just order my steak with blue cheese not the bake. They have many options to choose from. We had great service and it is now one of our favorite places to eat especially since I feel confident in my food being safe to eat.
