So many gluten free options that my 12 yo celiac son was overwhelmed with the choices! Very knowledgeable and kind staff; we had an amazing experience.

They brought on a new chef and started battering food in Omission Beer which is not safe for celiacs (gluten removed, see work by Gluten Dude). They didn’t tell anyone about the change, continue to advertise a fryer safe for celiacs when it is NOT SAFE.

Severe Celiac family. 2 adults and 2 children. And 3 of us with gluten intolerances. And none of us got sick! And the severe Celiac family members ate all different plates - Fried Haddock, Sandwiches WITH Fries! Muscles and more. Everything was delicious!!

Separate menu, that is extensive. Terrific meal, with entree adorned with a GF stick to differentiate it. Staff seemed very at ease with our needs.
Great setting and atmosphere, even for a noon lunch on a Saturday.

This is one of our go to places on vacation but tonight my meal came with a gluten free flag but my husbands did not. When we asked they said oh that’s definitely the gluten free bun but also brought his gluten free chowder with regular oyster crackers. Not sure if it’s new staff for summer not following protocol but didn’t feel confident our meals were actually gluten free.
This is a lovely restaurant with delicious smelling food but my gluten sensor found gluten in my grilled scallops dish. I’d be willing to try again (they are very nice people here, felt bad I couldn’t eat my dish) but I’m not sure I’d consider this place celiac safe unless you have a gluten sensor. They don’t have a dedicated kitchen space so utensil contamination at busy times could be an issue.

Amazing gluten free options! They have a separate gluten free menu. Delightful fried cod sandwich on gluten free bread. 5 star experience!!

Incredible gf fried scallops and haddock nuggets! Menu is pricy, so I wondered if it would be worth it. Have no fear.Hubby liked gf better than my daughter's fried fish with gluten. I thought I'd have a little of my husband's chowder as I don't eat dairy either, ended up eating half his bowl.

Love this place!! Fried haddock sandwich is AWESOME!! No GF Fries because they outsource the spuds, but they do have home made potato chips made in a dedicate fryer!!

Had a great finner with great service. Ask for the gluten free menu at the hostess stand to save a trip. The seafood tower is amazing for two HUNGRY people or 4-6 as an appetizer. The chowder was delish too, but it was the fried whole belly cllams (GF!) that have me swooning in happiness.

This place is amazing. Almost everything on their menu can be made gluten free and is delicious. They have a dedicated fryer. One of the best places I have ever eaten before and after food allergies.
Excellent food with many delicious GF options right on the regular menu. Lobster lovers should order the Tall Ship without the bun. Tons of lobster meat (enough for 2 meals) and the best GF chowder I have ever eaten! Go - and delight!
