I was recently forced to go gluten free and was craving birria so I was happy when I saw this food truck yesterday. I stopped and asked both the women working if they can confirm their birria is gluten free. They both said yes but before I ordered I asked again just to be sure. The lady taking my order assured me it was free from gluten-containing ingredients and even corrected herself toward the end of my order where she stopped herself from asking do I want corn or flour tortillas saying “oh never mind, you’ll be need corn.” I ordered the quesabirria quesadilla and was in heaven as I savored every bite. The true test was this morning as I woke up with 0 symptoms of accidental glutening. I will definitely be going back! Note - the only reason I rated it 4 instead of 5 is because they do serve gluten-containing items so it’s definitely a fully GF place due to potential for cross contamination.
