I was disappointed. Gluten-free items were marked on the menu, but many of the dishes go in the fryer with gluten-containing ingredients. When I asked about the fryer, the first two servers I spoke with didn’t understand. They sent a manager over, who was able to tell me which dishes marked gluten-free contains items that went in the fryer (they weren’t always obvious - “roasted potatoes” turned out to be fried). Also, there were a couple of dishes containing couscous which were marked GF. I pointed those out and the manager said “Whoops! This is a new menu, I guess I missed those”. Not the safest spot.

Avanti is located on the second floor of the Lagos Marina. They have a happy hour every day from 3-5PM. View their menu at www.avantilagos.com. The Tapas have many GF options and average around $6. The staff are super friendly and speak excellent English.
