A plethora of gluten free options all labeled on the menu. My uncle (who is also gluten free) ordered the cashew chicken stir fry and fresh spring rolls and I had the Pad Thai and lettuce wraps.

My family enjoyed this meal... even the gluten-eaters. We ordered apps and dishes and shared. Crispy pork appetizer was my favourite. We also had chicken wings, chicken pad thai, Thai fried rice, steamed rice, ginger beef, and tamarind chicken. Waiter very confident and knowledgeable. We had leftovers to bring home.

Our choice for the Best Thai Restaurant In SXM Also, one of the most (maybe THE MOST) gluten-friendly restaurant in SXM . . .
Avantika has a gluten-friendly menu with each dish labelled as GF or not. This is not a common practice on the island, so we highly recommend anyone with food allergies consider eating at Avantika Thai . . .
The GF egg rolls at Avantika were flavourful and my favourite dish . . .
Dining-in or takeout, Avantika will not disappoint! For those planning to dine-in Avantika restaurant has a fine-dining ambiance with Thai-influenced decor . . .
The food is delicious; you can expect Thai staples with international and Caribbean twists . . .

This restaurant was an excellent choice for Celiacs. I'd estimate that 90% of the menu was gluten free and there was absolutely no cross contamination.
And the food was excellent and very reasonably priced. Dinner for 6 with a few sodas and beer was 200$ including tax and tip.
Highly recommend visiting this establishment.

I ordered yellow curry, chicken cashew, and the chicken wings. The wings were amazing as well as the other two dishes. The ambience of the restaurant is impeccable, it is comforting and visually pleasing. A large portion of their menu can be made gluten free and the staff are knowledgeable about the process of gluten free

Ate here recently on a cruise stop after reading all the great reviews. All the food we got was incredible. I got the chicken satay and crispy beef fried rice. I am celiac and was with 10 other people who aren't and everyone loved their meals. Almost everything on the menu is gf and it's all clearly marked. The cocktails were also very good. 11 out of 10 would definitely go back there were so many things I wanted to try.

We took our Celiac son here to celebrate his 14th birthday and he ate like a king! We enjoyed the sate, Pad Thai, Massuman Curry and Fried Rice. The vast majority of the menu is gluten free. We will definitely come back this trip.

I ate here twice while on vacation during my 2019 Christmas trip. Both times the staff was super knowledgeable, and very understanding. The fried spring rolls are not safe even though they are listed as GF. Menu is extensive. I had the yellow curry, fresh spring rolls and the fried rice; all delicious!! Highly recommend!

So many GF options!! Got Spring rolls and lettuce wraps for apps and drunken noodles with steak for entree and it was all delicious

The waitstaff was very helpful about my Celiac and gluten free needs. Gluten free items are marked with the GF and grain icon on the menu. They immediately told us that the soy sauce and fish sauce (common gluten sources) used in the kitchen were gluten free. They informed the kitchen of my allergy and I was fine after eating dinner. Mark was very friendly and reassuring and I dined without worry.
Allergen friendliness aside the food was really delicious. We had chicken satay and pad Thai and both were really well done.

The staff was wonderful and helpful! Menu is clear and easy to identify which dishes are Gluten free. The restaurant is clean. The portions are a nice size. The food was really flavorful! I would give them an extra star if I could!
The best gluten free restaurant on the island! Amazing selection, clear on the menu and very knowledgeable staff. Highly recommend!

I recently took a trip to St. Maarten and was beyond lucky and thankful that I found this restaurant. Being both vegan and gluten-free, it can be very difficult for me to find restaurants that can accommodate my needs. In St. Maarten, they have yet to make the move to include people with special dietary needs. However, I cannot say enough good things about this place. The restaurant itself is a chic and comfortable lounge. The owner was very kind and understanding and his own mother has Celiac's Disease, making him very well-versed in the needs of the those who are gluten-free. The menu is extensive and has a variety of fresh and authentic Thai dishes that are labeled vegan for those who need it. When I mentioned my food allergies, he was more than happy to make substitutions to dishes to accommodate my needs. In addition to gluten-free noodles, there is a gluten-free soy sauce available as well. Overall, dinner at Avantika was the best meal I had during my entire trip to island. The staff made me feel comfortable and secure in my meal decision knowing that it would be not only free of gluten but absolutely delicious. I cannot recommend this restaurant enough.
