Awai is a relatively upscale vegan restaurant with a prix fixe menu that is updated daily. I called in advance of my reservation to inform them of my celiac and they assured me it was no problem at all. I received many of the same courses as my non-gf friend, and what dishes were modified/different were equal parts impressively executed and delicious (one of my substitutions was RAVIOLI of all things, made entirely of sesame flour and flax). Staff were extremely knowledgeable of gf cross-contamination requirements, and many of there offerings seemed to be largely gluten free by default (including their flatbread pizza!) Service was delightful. I felt very safe eating here, did not get sick, and will definitely be back.
