Best Thai in DC apart from Thip Khao. Spicy and offers a variety of more authentic options, with GF items marked and safe for Celiacs. My favorite is the banana leaf wrapped chicken curry.

Kitchen and staff are knowledgeable. Some staff are more so than others. I’ll ask them to make a note to the kitchen, and the kitchen will send the waiter out to confirm what they can or cannot do. Tom Yum soup is amazing but they cross contact broth with gluten so the kitchen makes me my own broth. Tons of amazing and great options!

This is the new baan Thai (from 14th st). They now label gf on their menu! Didn’t ask about fried items but tons of options. Its still as good and as spicy as ever.
