Review of Bab Al Salam

Great authentic Middle Eastern mom and pop restaurant. The daily special was written in both English and Arabic. The waitress/presumed owner was really nice about pointing out what I could eat on the menu (I can't have gluten, dairy or legumes). I was able to have any of the meat dishes since they are not marinated in yogurt, unlike some other Middle Eastern restaurants I've been to. I had the kefta kebab plate that came with rice and a mixture of tomato, cucumber and tahini. The waitress made sure to point out that the mixture was safe for me and did not contain any yogurt. The food was really good and I did not have any symptoms of hidden gluten/dairy exposure. I will definitely return.
