Staff said the meat was gf and they would change gloves and surfaces for prep. The beef brisket was amazing; melts in your mouth and so good! I had it on a salad to be safe but unfortunately I think there was cross contamination in the salad prep as it was already prepared. I did feel sick right away. If I dare to try again I would just get the meat, not a salad.

Amazing experience! Made sure to ask the woman preparing our food to change gloves since there was an allergy, and she did so immediately! Seems like they’ve dealt with gluten allergies before. Put our food on a separate tray as well. Carolina pork and loaded baked potato were our favorites.

After reading the positive reviews for having a gluten free meal at BB BBQ, we were very disappointed in what we saw. The guy at the front (who was extremely kind and patient) was making each order but would touch the buns and then dig in the meat warmer to load each sandwich. There wasn’t a single person that made a sandwich that didn’t dig their freshly contaminated hands into the meat warmer or touch the meat slab to cut it. They would cut the brisket and slide it out of the way with the same contaminated gloves. They’d scoop Mac and cheese and go right back to digging in the meat with gloves. No utensils at all where the meat was concerned. We opted to just get a to go order for our kid and skip this place. We went to Moe’s instead, where they take things more seriously.

Great barbecue! All the meats and sauces are gluten free! They’re really great about changing gloves and putting down new tin foil to make sure there’s no cross contamination from bread that may have been on the cutting board. All their sides except for the Mac and cheese are gluten free.
