Back Door Donuts

They offer a few options for GF donuts when the island is busy. I found in the spring that they don’t make them but through the summer and early fall they continue. It’s a cake like donut. I love the Boston Cream gf donut from here.

Far from the best gluten free donuts I’ve had and you can’t get them at night time when they sell fresh ones, but not a bad option while on the island

Their gf donuts are more like donut-shaped cupcakes, but I enjoyed them and they are the only donut shop I have heard of offering gluten free! Make sure you come in the morning to get gluten free. We went twice (once at night, once midday) and they had already sold out.

Living on the island, I have taken many visitors to BDD. Since new owners have taken over this past year, they have introduced 2 flavors of gluten free donuts. When ordered they come out wrapped in a separate wrapper and bag. I now am able to enjoy donuts with everyone I bring to BDD!
