Backyard Taco

Staff was not knowledgeable. Took my chance ordering a bowl based on another review on this site. I was nervous eating it. I did not get sick. I only went there because the group I was with really wanted to eat there.

Celiac and I had no reaction and I’m very sensitive to cross contamination. Had the chicken bowl without beans and had salsa and guacamole sauce.

Had stomach pain after eating steak tacos on corn tortillas. I am not celiac, so I’m not sure what bothered me, but based on what I’ve read it seems that their corn tortillas aren’t Gf, and there is a lot of cross contamination. I have an email out to Corporate to ask for an Allergen list, which I will share if they send it to me!

I went to the one on Higley and they weren't very knowledgeable. They finally told me what I could eat. I asked them to cook my corn tortillas in foil and change their gloves. They acted like it was ridiculous but said they would. Then didn't so I asked for my money back.

Both the Mesa and Gilbert locations told us their corn tortillas were not gluten-free!

Tacos can be ordered with corn tortilla. The Vegetarian Crazy Potato is GF & delicious.
