Cute local eatery. Service is good and friendly. Food was delicious. I ordered the 1 egg breakfast with bacon and hashed browns. GF toast. Also has a coffee bar where I got a latte to go. I’m pretty sensitive and had no reaction at all. GF options clearly marked on the menu.
Second time here! I LOVE the pancakes. I go to sun street cafe for French toast and Snooze AM Cafe for pancakes but the pancakes are SO good for gluten free. I am not celiac so I can’t speak on behalf of celiac but I love them. Plain, blueberries, strawberries, and banana options. I’m sure you could get chocolate too!
Very home style cooking! I love love love the pancakes. Never felt bad after eating! My pancakes come out with a toothpick and they state gluten free. If you are worried just ask they will reassure you!
Wonderful little spot! We stopped in for a quick bite on our way home and will make sure to do it again! The gluten free French toast was TASTY, the waitress knew a lot about gf living, lots of coffee options. You know it’s the spot when everyone that walks in is on a first name basis with the staff! 🥰
I got the french toast and hot chocolate and enjoyed the heck out of it. I didn't get sick, so I'm going to count it as a win. AJ was our waitress, and she was super friendly and seemed very confident in the kitchen's ability to be gluten free. She was quick to offer to double-check if the hot chocolate was gluten free instead of guessing, which is always comforting. I was kind of in an eat-and-run rush, but I'd like to go back and sit for a minute. It has a diner vibe and I think I'd like to try an egg dish for a meal that isn't just bread and syrup. (It was good, though, so I'm not mad.)
Lots of gluten free options. Have eaten here many times and can't recall getting sick after eating. I recently went back and ordered my usual omelette and hash browns and for the first time ever was told they put a seasoning on them that contains gluten...I have no idea if this is true or not but asked for no seasoning. I ended up getting sick and I have no idea from what. May be better to go to if you don't have celiac.
the last two times I have been there they didn't give me the gluten free option. I ordered the gf french toast, got sick. ordered the gf club checked the bread before eating then asked the waitress, she grabbed the plate and brought me a new one. fool me twice shame on me.
Lots of gf choices here! I ended up choosing the gluten free toast with my egg/bacon/hashbrown breakfast and it was really good. I even double checked with the waitress that she hadn't brought me regular toast because it was so light and fluffy looking! Nice place with a hometown diner feel.
Enjoyed having pancakes with my breakfast. I was nervous the first time I went. I've been many times now and never gotten sick. Everyone is so nice too!
Excellent service, excellent food, very wheat allergy friendly! There was no cross contamination at all! We have added Bacon's to our very small list of restaurants we can dine at safely.
