My mother (also celiac) first told the staff that I had celiac/a gluten allergy and was told that there was no need to tell them that since their food labeled GF will be GF. I ordered and also mentioned celiac/a gluten allergy and was given rolled eyes and told that there is no need to tell them that. My meal was fine and I felt fine, however, they gave my mother her meal served on French fries which was not on the description and most likely made in a shared, unsafe fryer.
By far the WORST experience I have ever had at a restaurant. They have completely changed the menu since the previous reviews and NOTHING is Celiac friendly and neither are the staff. We showed up at 8, it took 40 minutes with the wait staff to figure out how to order and how to get service, we finally place our order at 8:40 and at 9:07 nothing, not even a drink, even though our friends were already halfway through their meals. My husband went to ask what the delay is and they apologize and gave him his beer “food will be out in a minute”. 2 minutes later someone from the kitchen comes out and says the kitchen is closed and they have already cleaned everything. We left without even eating and the kitchen staff was very rude. I was already feeling uncomfortable about the safety of the food so maybe it was a good thing that they were so horrible. Definitely NOT celiac friendly. I wouldn’t even recommend this place for those without gluten issues
