Review of Bagel Talk

There are maybe two delis in the area that open before 8am and offer gf food and this is one of them. On a good day they will have gluten free plain and everything bagels that are much smaller in size than your average NY bagel. These are not only kept away from other foods in the display case but are also individually wrapped so as to prevent any cross contamination.

If you are celiac, in this area, and are craving an early morning bagel then I would recommend this place only if you are buying it plain. Having them toast it, add eggs or bacon, or add any other topping will cause cross contamination. I’ve repeatedly been glutened by this place and so think of it more as a last resort.

Additionally, I would not recommend going here just before noon. The local schools let their students out to buy lunch and this seems to be one of their favorite places, causing a relatively long wait.
