Staff where accommodating for both gluten and dairy intolerance and could explain what I could and couldn’t have and I had a super tasty cream cheese (all their cream cheese is vegan) and avocado bagel, would recommend!
The staff seemed knowledgable about coeliac disease and told me not to order the toasted bagels due to cross-contamination. The bagels were super nice and perfect for lunch
Not very friendly staff BUT very yummy gluten free bagel. Reminds me of back when I was not diseased and would eat bagels and salmon on Sunday mornings! Very busy but worth it, go here for a quick fun breakfast!

One gluten free bread for the beagles but with lot of options

They didn't have any gf bagels for the day so they proposed me different other options but the only one that was safe from contamination was the japanese salad. The staff was really aware and knew the difference between celiac and intolerant. Very cool moment for me and my partner (who isn't celiac).
The bagel with cream cheese and salmon was fire! It’s one of the best ones I’ve ever had in my life. If you can, go there!
It is just possible to order cold bagels, so to avoid cross contamination. I took the one with smoked salmon and it was amazing (I had doubts it was gluten free since it was so good!). I took also a vegan and gluten free cake. I would raccomand it for an easy meal!
Only cold sandwiches are available gluten-free without cross-contact. There were 2 sandwiches available : pastrami or smoked salmon and only on a plain “bagel” which was good but was basically a bagel-shaped piece of bread. I was still pretty hungry afterwards.
Great experience at Bagels & Beans! The gluten free bagel is delish and they are great at warning you when order that something may come in contact with gluten. An overall lovely experience with really good food.

I got the Wild Alaskan Salmon on a gf bagel with chive cream cheese, and it was delicious! We had some issues with the online ordering system so we ended up having to wait for the server to order, which took a bit longer. There is potential for cc here but I felt fine afterwards 😊

The space is small and the staff were a little overwhelmed but the bagel was yummy. I had salmon with the chive cream cheese.
We went there to have a quick meal. It is also a cute spot to have a break and a good bagel. We ordered a the Cream-cheese and mushrooms bagel and the Cream-cheese and chocolate bagel. They were really good! The girls working there were nice and the service was quite fast :)
You can get all options in a GF bagel. They will take extra precautions if needed. Overall tasty and handy as there are a number of branches. Service is a bit slow.
All bagels can be made gluten free. The food is not exceptionally good, but it’s an ok lunch.
I saw them baking the GF bagel in a separated tray so it didn’t come in contact with the normal ones

Had a bagel tosti- really good! Be advised for some of the sandwiches, they have to take the bagel out of its “allergy bag” so there is risk for cross contact there.
Quite frankly the best gluten free bagel I’ve ever had. I sampled much of the Menü, from basic bagels and vegan cream cheese to full sandwiches bursting with veg. It’s just so good.
Had an amazing gluten free bagel. Wasn’t heavy and there cream cheese was delicious. They also have vegan options and dairy free. Great menu and not overly pricey.

Great GF bagels, you can even take some to go! I had the smoked chicken with avacado and basil dressing - it was excellent!! Staff were familiar with gluten and were able to share what toppings that I should avoid.
Delicious breakfast but RISKY! Not very knowledgeable about anything except the gluten free bagel offered and they warned me about high risk of cross contamination.
super great! staff was well aware of celiac needs, they wash their hands and change their gloves. gluten free bagels come separately wrapped and are processed in a different facility than the regular bagels. also, they were well aware of cross contamination— they even told me the nuts on one of the sandwiches was processed in the same facility as wheat/gluten so they made it without the nuts!
Bit chaotic. Gluten free bagel available but not so much knowledge if you ask questions about the toppings. Had a couple of different people serving me - Some staff seem to get the gf story and know what’s safe etc and others don’t seem to have a clue about whether a menu item is gf or not. I don’t feel very confident to eat here again.

For someone with celiacs, this is a nice place to have breakfast. Food was fresh and coffee was very delicious.
Not a large selection of bagels however the toppings sure make up for it. Fresh juice was delicious as well.
They have gluten free bagels but this is not labeled on their menu. I went there and had a gf bagel with honey walnut cream cheese. I did try to go one morning and they ran out of gf bagels. It’s a great quick and easy spot to stop in for a bite and some coffee.

Great to have a number of Bagels & Beans around Amsterdam for a quick, delicious, inexpensive meal. Staff are really knowledgeable about Gluten free, Noted that if I chose one of the “special bagel” sandwiches, the bagel would be warm, and they can slice it in the bag to avoid cross contamination. Had the smoked chicken with pesto and pine nuts, which was great, and also the tuna with capers (+ avocado and cheddar cheese). I think the bagels are Schaar, so not the most bagel-like in chew, but a decent bun for sure. Iced golden almond milk with turmeric and cardamom and cinnamon was also a standout.

This place was amazing! Gluten free bagel is made off site. And they will heat in bag to make sure no cross contamination in oven. I had jam and cream cheese... so delicious
Amazing gluten free bagel! So light and fluffy. Can get any bagel sandwich on the gluten free bagel which is amazing! They asked if it was an allergy or not.. we went twice on our trip it was so good
They have a gluten free bagel that can filled with any toppings to make a delish gf bagel sandwich. Asked if it was an allergy, and when told it was said they'd take extra precautions.
After a long flight from NYC -> AMS this place was a godsend. GF bagels take longer but it's because they prepare it separately to prevent CC. Highly recommended.
Well, in reaction to the other review here: normally all the Bagel & Beans (its a chain) have the option to take a glutenfree bagel. Its not the best bagel, and not the worst. Handy if youre with other people who are in the mood for a quick bagel and you dont wanna search forever for a gf lunch place.

I come here all the time when I visit Amsterdam. It’s incredibly reliable for gluten free food. They ask you if you have an allergy to gluten and will cater the kitchen accordingly
I went to Amsterdam for 4 days and had breakfast here every single day. The gluten free bagels were absolutely delicious and they’re toasted in a sealed bag in the ovens so no cross contamination. The staff are very good at making sure everything is safe by using gloves and different utensils. Wonderful atmosphere, lovely staff, excellent food and amazing coffee! I’d highly recommend this establishment to any coeliac visiting Amsterdam.
Vriendelijk, hebben aparte allergenenkaart voor hun gehele menu. Lekker.
Personeel lijkt niet altijd bewust van strikt glutenvrij, maar bij duidelijk vragen, kan het zeker goed komen. Ze vragen het ook soms zelf na. (Bvb de keer dat ik met m’n kids alleen was en voor iedereen een gv bagel wou, en ook strikt gv)
Gv bagel kost beetje extra.
Ik heb hier al vaker taartje of bagel gegeten. Altijd goed gegaan.
