I have had it confirmed from two different employees that there’s two separate fryers, one for battered things and one for chips. The food is not my favorite, but I like that they tend to default to corn tortillas.

We were eager to try this Beacon Hill institution, recently reopened at a new location. But quickly were disappointed when they said they could offer ZERO accommodations or assurances regarding the safety of any items on their menu. They are not even willing to use a clean pan for non-gluten items (eg corn tortilla taco). This has not been our experience at other mexican restaurants. Save yourself a trip.
