I messaged the restaurant through their website to ask about allergens but never heard back. I then called several times and sent an Instagram DM, and I was sent a message to “ask my waiter” which was annoying. When I did ask, he forgot to check until he came around to get our orders. He finally came back and said yes, the Dorados de Pollo were gluten and soy free. They were delicious and I didn’t get sick, but it was a hassle and made me nervous.
Menu is not clearly marked if it is gluten free. Ordered Carnitas Tacos, and let them know that I have a gluten allergy. The food came out with fried toppings sprinkled all over it. I asked if that was gluten free, and they said no, it has gluten. Use extra caution ordering and eating here.
Ate here twice on an 8 day trip. It was so good we had to come back. Staff was great, service awesome, atmosphere cool, food so so good, best of all almost everything is gluten free. Loud at night outside but fun.
The waiter did a great job of modifying and talking to the chef to ensure what I ate was gluten free. The meal I got was excellent. However, he said that all the cheese (including queso and cheese on entrees) had food starch added to it that has gluten so I didn’t eat that and felt fine. I think other reviews suggested that the queso was gluten free, so I’m not sure what is correct but be careful.
Entire menu is GF except for the dessert. They only serve corn tortillas and chips. Food and drinks are delicious. Happy hour 5-7 50% off cocktails
