[Updated review] I’ve been here a few times since my coeliac diagnosis and was previously advised almost all the dishes could be made coeliac safe gluten-free. However today the owner was there and she said only about half the menu could be made gluten-free. I usually get the risotto and have checked multiple times with the staff and kitchen that it was coeliac safe, but this time when I went to order it they said there was barley in the stock so it’s definitely not coeliac safe.
The food is really tasty here but after this experience I’d ask lots of questions before ordering. They could benefit from having gluten-free options marked on the menu or a separate gluten-free menu as the staff don’t seem fully aware of all sources of gluten.
