My husband and I both got sushi and I also ordered edamame. I asked about gluten free and explained about my Celiac Disease first thing. I was told anything without tempura would be fine. I asked about the imitation crab and our server checked with the kitchen and came back with the response that it was gluten free because “it’s just fish.” I told her that some imitation crab has wheat in it and then passed on that option. I asked about soy sauce and she indicated toward the container in the table. I asked if it was GF and she said no and told me she would get me some packets. After we ordered, she came back. Apparently there IS wheat in the imitation crab so she told me it’s a good thing I didn’t order that. There must have been some cross contamination in the kitchen because I am sick today. Seriously disappointed and kinda angry.

Fast service. Great food. Very knowledgeable staff. I had a tuna roll, a salmon roll, and a salad. All delicious and didn’t get sick!
Almost any non-fried foods can be made with gluten free soy sauce!I have have celiac (AND gluten allergy) and have never had a reaction to any of the dishes I've had. Love this place and the owner's willingness to help in any way possible! This is a judgement free restaurant. 😊
