Their food is delicious but two times I've had mac salad cross contamination in my food visibly. I told them I was celiac and asked if they would make sure to use separate serving spoons. It's a risk, but their actual food is gluten free if it's supposed to be. Just watch for the cross contamination.

Love this place! Best Hawaiian food in PDX! We have 2 celiacs in our family and eat here frequently. They only use their own GF teriyaki sauce. They have GF soy/tamari sauce. We can eat pretty much everything on the menu except yakisoba, saimin, and mac salad.

Knowledgeable staff. They use GF soy sauce. Very few items have gluten. Just be careful with the Mac salad that comes with several meals.

Excellent food! The meat and sauces are all gluten free! I ate the sashimi combo spicy and it hit the spot! Great menu friendly staff. The passion fruit ice tea was awesome too!

Great gluten free Hawaiian grinds! Most everything is gluten free except for the mac salad. Big plates, lots of good food!

Great food! Server was attentive and informed me everything on the menu is gluten free except the macaroni salad and noodles.

Used to go here before I learned I needed to be gluten free. Yummy food in a fun atmosphere. So, happy to hear their sauces are safe. I've really been missing teriyaki, Kaluha pig and Kalbi ribs!!

I spoke with one of the people who work for this place and they only use GF soy sauce and Terriaki sauce. I had the shrimp stir fry and it was fantastic. Veggies were crisp and it was light sauce which I enjoy

Everything tastes the same. Meat is very fatty, sauce is too sweet and watery, and there are almost no vegetable options.

Unbelievably happy to have Hawaiian grinds made with GF soy. GF beer as well. Have tried ribs, teriyaki chicken, pan fried Korean chicken all really well made. Large portions. Maybe we can all convince them to offer a better GF side than the green salad... It's perfectly functional but someday maybe GF macaroni salad?
