Staff unhelpful. The restaurant explicitly states that you should notify your server about any allergies, but when someone in my party did, the server told him it didn’t matter until she knew what he was getting, which would be fine except she was rude about it, treating him like he was stupid when he was literally following their own menu’s rules. Nothing noted on menu as gluten-free or eligible to be made that way. No g-free soy sauce (tamari) provided.

Been here two times. First time was when they first opened and they made me beef with onions with gf soy sauce after about ten minutes of going back and forth with the kitchen staff since nothing was labeled gf. Was delicious!! But, I was sick within 20 minutes.
I called the restaurant the next day to tell them how delicious the food was but that unfortunately I did get sick and asked what might have been in the meal, as I wanted to come back because my non gf family absolutely loves it here.
He said next time to try whatever I wanted but with a white sauce.
Next visit after letting the waitress know it’s important for me to not have soy or wheat she says I could have steamed shrimp or chicken with steamed vegetables but no sauce, which I didn’t want so I had sushi (since it’s so easy to order this gf). I asked if they could make fried rice with the gluten-free tamari and she said yes. I asked her to please not put the order in if the chef wasn’t sure that it would be gluten-free.
Sushi was fine but fried rice came out with pork in it which I noticed after taking a couple bites. I asked her to check with the kitchen who determined it was not gf. I left my family still enjoying dinner and went home just in case I got sick.
Pro: you can always get sushi
Gf soy sauce in a separate clearly marked container
Nice staff
Great for non gf people…food looks so good!
Con: seems like they may need more training.
I wouldn’t go again unless I wanted a California roll.
One star because I left hungry and now have paid twice for a meal I shouldn’t have eaten.
