Bandit Burrito

We came on a Saturday morning with no one else there. The staff seemed very confused by my gluten free request. I was met with “well we serve burritos”. I walked them through the things I thought would be safe but can almost guarantee I will get sick. I wish there were more GF breakfast Places in Des Moines :(

Everything is made fresh in house and the staff was very knowledgeable. Only thing not gluten free is the homemade queso and the tortillas. Chips are fried in same fryer as tortillas so not safe. Food was delicious and lots of choices!! Definitely will go again. Staff was very friendly.

Bandit Burrito has amazing options for anyone with a food allergy. They have a nice sign outlining what is ok for your restriction. The only items on custom burrito line containing gluten are the tortillas, the queso and the chips. But, with all of the other amazing options you won't even notice. Support local!
