Always delicious food, tons of choices, never had any issues.
Today's experience at Bangkok Cuisine was shockingly appalling. My family has frequented the establishment without any problems but this evening made us decide that we would never return. My 9-year old daughter daughter and I both ordered the Asian BBQ spare ribs. My dish was served first and seemed fine. Then the rest of my family received their orders one-by-one with about 5 minutes separating each delivery. My daughter was waiting and waiting. Finally, a dish with three grilled chicken breasts were served--obviously not the Asian BBQ. When I suggested that my daughter had received the wrong order, the server said it was the same thing as mine they "just didn't cook it as dark." I'm no agricultural expert, but I'm unaware of any food preparation, short of some sort of culinary alchemy, that can turn chicken into beef. When I gave our waitress a skeptical look, she took back the dish and returned to the kitchen. Five minutes later, she brought back the same exact dish. (What were they doing with the chicken breast that whole time is no doubt a story that may best be told by M. Night Shyamalan.) I then asked to see a menu and pointed to the description and indicated that what was served did not match what was in the menu. The waitress then said that she told the cook one thing and he/she/it made something else. I asked what it would actually take to receive what one ordered? Squirming and giggling to her co-worker who was also making furtive faces to our waitress, our waitress said "she didn't know." I asked "who would know," and out waitress pointed to the back of the restaurant and departed. Eventually another person came, the same teenage girl with whom our waitress and been smirking and came to ask what was wrong. She then indicated that we were served some dish called "Boxing Chicken." "Did we not want that?" I answered "no" and suggested that we simply cancel the order altogether. At this point I was afraid that anything coming out of that kitchen might be something other than conventional meat products as a sort of reprisal for calling into question their ability to discern the difference between chicken and beef. We asked for to-go boxes and received our tab. After all the back and forth, the attempted to charge us for the "Boxing Chicken" or the "not-as-dark-spare-ribs" that we never ordered. Needless to say, we insisted that they remove that from our bill and we left in dismay. We won't be returning again.
Many options including desserts! Food was excellent! Definitely recommend!
