This restaurant has been our go-to for sushi and family outings since they first opened more than 10 years ago. I was recently diagnosed with celiac and this was my first time eating out after my diagnosis. We're regulars and the waiter knows us. I told him I had been diagnosed with celiac and that I strictly couldn't have gluten. We talked about the miso and he said it had gluten so I skipped it. The first bite I took was the spicy tuna roll. I knew almost immediately I'd been glutened. Turns out there is tempura crunch on the spicy tuna roll. I was SO disappointed. I had thought it would be safe.

I love this place! Just let them know you have Celiac, they are happy to modify anything they can! Knowledgeable about everything on the menu that is safe or can be modified!

My families go-to place for Celiac Friendly Chinese food!

Update: This place feels safe to me. I have gone back several times and I have been happy when I leave. They have a gluten free sushi menu and I have had sushi twice now. I told the waitstaff that I have celiac and they ran through my choices with the gluten free sushi menu. They did not do the same when I said I have a gluten allergy---which makes me think they may know that there is a difference between different gluten free eating.
Before:
They took care of me. They dont have a dedicated gluten free menu but the waitress listened to my needs and asked the kitchen twice about the lunch menu items. I don't eat much sushi but I do love thai. I will be back. I didn't get sick.

Enjoyed a sushi meal here. They have a "makeshift" gluten free sushi menu. My order came out nicely. They only have low sodium tamari (gluten free soy sauce). Felt good after dinner, so I call that a success!
incredibly knowledgeable staff. very friendly.
I really enjoyed eating. The waitstaff is knowledgeable about what is gluten free. They have gluten free soy sauce and are willing to replace fake crab meat with the real crab meat that is gluten free for an extra charge. They are have hot entrees that are gluten free. None of the soups are gluten free. They do have salads for an appetizer though.

Love their sushi and they have GF soy sauce.
They will make most of their items gluten free for you. My wife is a celiac and has never been sick from their food and we have been dozens of times. Jesse will gladly walk you through what is or is not safe for you to have.
