Bar Chinois

I dined at Bar Chinois for brunch with friends in January 2024. Bar Chinois includes gluten- and celiac-friendly markers on its menu, which I appreciate; the waitress understood accommodations for food allergies and allayed my concerns about cross-contamination. For individuals with celiac disease, Bar Chinois only offers one entrée (mushroom salad) and one dessert (matcha crème brûlée). I ordered the mushroom salad, which was fine (not a fan of mushrooms or cold veggies), BUT I felt safe and did not get sick after eating here. And bottomless mimosas are $20.00 for two hours (got my money’s worth here). I would recommend Bar Chinois to anyone looking for a safe, Asian-ish experience in the area. It’s disappointing that the menu does not feature more celiac-friendly items, but I’m glad I was able to try this location. Would come back for brunch again and try the crème brûlée!

Amazing gluten free options (clearly marked on menu), including dumplings and orange chicken which I haven’t had from a restaurant since celiac diagnosis over a decade ago. Super knowledgeable and just fantastic experience all around.
