One of my go-to places in Seattle. Menu clearly marks gluten-free items. it’s Farm to Table brunch food, some with a middle eastern twist. It’s easy to sub out dairy items (I ask them to substitute hummus). Delicious gluten-free bread.
Lovely service. Fantastic venue with a bistro dining room, a large airy veranda (with heaters) and an outdoor shed. I try to get there by 11 AM for lunch or after 1 pm so that I can eat in the veranda.
Daytime café menu is available from 8:00am–3:00pm daily for dine-in and takeout. during the day, they are a walk-up counter service café. No reservations.
The dinner menu is served tuesday–saturday from 5:00pm with happy hour from 4:00–6:00pm. Reservations needed.
Superb location in Ballard on a tree-lined Street with lots of shops. On Sunday the street is where the Ballard farmers’ market is. In that case it’s best to go there between 8 AM through 9:30 AM so you don’t have to stand in line for a long time. (It is worth the wait.)

Awesome! Gluten free menu items are marked, and they can make adjustments to some of the other items to make them GF. They have a dedicated fryer with the best fries I’ve had since diagnosis! I had the chicken kabobs, the chickpea Caesar (though they did mess up and bring me one with croutons first and apologized profusely), the mussels (without the bread), the hummus with veggies, and a feta dip. Everything was great, the server was so patient (on a busy Saturday night too) and knowledgeable. The place is so cozy and cute. Great for a date night or night out with friends.

Seems like whether the fryer is GF depends on the day. Yesterday, it was GF. We got the za’atar fries, fried cauliflower, a couple of skewers, and the chips with whipped feta dip. It was all really good! Also, when I asked what the compostable straw was made from, the server went to check and couldn’t figure it out, so she brought an entirely new drink - that was much appreciated!

A majority of the menu is marked gf and server said they make a note of allergies for the kitchen staff. Great food and drinks!

make sure you sub anything with chips for the gluten free bread, they do not have a dedicated fryer! we ordered drinks and the mushroom hummus, both were great.
