Love this place! It’s a stand up or take out dining experience. Most everything is gluten free, and the server pointed out what was not. The Spanish tortilla is the best. Everyone else in the place (and it was pretty full) was eating that and drinking the gluten free beer

After trying the other places on Calle Romero… and being punted because they were allegedly full (eye-roll), we headed to bar santos! “Everything is gluten free except the soup, bread and the draft beer.” And they have *good* gluten free beer. Busy, delicious, about as touristy as you can get… so also not the cheapest option. I would say it’s worth it to go across the alley to actually eat. The mezquita has a nice ledge! My husband (not gf) said the bread was really good, but they were a little skimpy on the jamón.

Just had a great lunch of the Bar Santos “tortilla” which is potato and egg along with a gluten free beer. This place was super popular and rightly so. I told the guy at the counter “sin gluten” and pointed and he made sure mine were the right choices. Everyone just hung out and ate on the old city walls across the sidewalk. It was fun and really tasty.

Advertised as gluten free and most things are but be aware the bread is NOT. This includes the salmorejo soup which is thickened with normal bread. Gluten free beer available but make sure to clarify as there is also normal.
