Review of Barbar Bar

I can't say for sure how safe it is, but there's a "main courses" menu where you choose a meat (steak, chicken, or fish), and choose the type of potato you want to accompany it. I chose plain chicken breast (there were several sauce options but I wasn't sure if they were safe) with a baked potato, and asked for no bread on the side. The waiter wasn't entirely sure what celiac disease was, but he actually came back after I had gotten my food to tell me that the creme fraiche sauce is gluten-free, so he must have checked with the cook. Overall, potentially risky, but the food was good. Maybe try it if you're in a pinch in the area.
