Not celiac safe! I was really looking forward to coming here with my family after seeing the reviews on this app. Unfortunately, nothing is actually safe here and I ended up sitting without food while my family ate. According to the chef there is a high risk of cross contamination because the burritos and corn tacos share a grill and they are unwilling to clean it between orders. The chips are unsafe because they have a beer battered shrimp taco special that is fried in the same fryer. I question how much the staff and chef know about gluten because I had to tell them that beer is not gluten free (and they were surprised). In the end, the chef said if you are sensitive to cross contamination then they don’t recommend you do not eat here. It’s such a shame because they use corn meal for everything (except flour tortillas, obviously) but they make it completely unsafe with prep areas and fryers.
