Enjoyed eating here twice while on vacation in Victoria. Great location behind The Empress Hotel so easy for tourists to visit in the inner harbour area. The first night I had bangers and mash and while I enjoyed my meal I wouldn’t rave about it. The subsequent visit I had the gluten free fish and chips. It was so delicious that I had to ask the server to double check if I was brought the right meal. Didn’t taste gluten free and I would highly recommend.

Absolutely incredible fish and chips. Some of the best I have ever had. Dedicated fryer and I did not get sick! Cool place too, British pub with a great atmosphere. Definitely recommend.

Great pub. Dedicated fryer. I had the fish and chips. Crispy fish and the tartar sauce was delicious! The fries were thick and crispy but no seasoning, so bland. The service was fast and great. I'd definitely go again.

Our celiac son had a burger with a gf bun and fries. Food was delicious and the place was great! Staff was really friendly and understood how important it is for him to eat gf. Would definitely go back!

They were so kind and they had some gluten free options. They have a dedicated gluten free fryer, gluten free buns, gluten free breading on chicken wing and calamari, they also have gluten free fries. The service is great. I ordered a Bart's burger with a gluten free bun and some gluten free fries. It tasted really good. I would definitely recommend this place if you can't have gluten.

Celiac teenager had fries and GF burger for lunch. Fries fried in dedicated frier. We also had chicken wings as a starter.

Normally if not truly GF we would have seen a reaction now.

Very positive experience. Had fish and chips - separate fryer and all fish and chips in the establishment are in GF coating. Fun classic English pub environment, classic fish & chips, knowledgeable server and menu labeled with GF items. Highly recommend.

Great experience, GF items are clearly marked on the menu, the server was knowledgeable of celiac, and informed me that there was a dedicated fryer and all the sauces could be subbed in gluten free. They also have gluten free buns that you can order with burgers. I had the gluten free fish and chips, they were delicious and when the server brought my order she stated, “celiac safe fish and chips”.

We had the gluten-free fish and chips and they were absolutely delicious… My 11 year old daughter with celiac ordered an extra piece. She loved it so much. Gluten-free fries. Perfectly safe. Delicious delicious delicious and a great atmosphere as well.

Bart’s is a great little pub with a cool Tuesday Quiz. I eat here regularly as a celiac. They have a dedicated fryer. I’ve tried the quarter chicken, bangers and mash, dry ribs, fry bowl and one of the burgers. Everything was delicious. Menu is labelled with what is gf and additionally many things can be modified, staff are aware and friendly when answering questions or if they don’t know they check with the kitchen.

I had the Ruben on GF bread it was good w/side salad. No dedicated fryer or actual GF menu. Waitress was knowledgeable. I wish they had more to offer for gluten free but over all my Ruben was good.

Staff was pretty friendly but weren’t super helpful outside of saying that you can get gf buns for your burger. No dedicated fryer. Not much to choose from. No mention on the menu what is gf.

GF bun was very soft, did not crumble. Impressive. Had the sockeye salmon burger with side salad ...likely going back today for a burger!

Not a lot of gf options, but the fish tacos were great! If the weather is nice, try to sit outside.
