They can make most of the waffles & pancakes gluten free. I had a waffle with blueberries sprinkled on top and it was decent. The rest of the menu is unclear regarding what else is gluten free besides the gf pancakes/waffles (e.g., potatoes or home fries)

I got glutened the first time I went here. Needless to say I won't be back. And it wasn't a minor glutenin. They clearly served me a regular waffle not gluten free. Ugh first day of vacation and I start it off being sick.

The service was great! They can make some of the pancakes gf. I had the banana pancakes, so good! They do not have a separate area, but we got there around 10am, and they were kinda starting to get busy and had no problem cleaning the grill for me! They even came out and let me know they did and when my food came out, reassured me again that it was very gf and they weren’t rude about it or anything! I would totally come here again!

Fantastic breakfast, coffee, and I didn't get sick! I highly recommend the "Wakey wakey eggs and bakey" which is a waffle cooked with bacon inside, topped with eggs and cheese. So good!!! My kids enjoyed the cinnamon roll pancakes.

There staff were knowledgeable and were willing to wipe down the griddle to make my food. Would say there is probably a risk of cc seeing as they use the same cooking surfaces (but like I said, they wiped it down). Ate there this morning and didn’t have a reaction. Plus their Full Monti pancakes were so delicious!

Soooo good!! Amazing to have so much choice. I wouldn't say celiac friendly because there's a lot of gluten containing batter in the same kitchen, I haven't had a noticeable reaction. Taste-wise - delicious!

wow what a great place. large selection, almost any pancake or waffle can be gf. I love their savory options. the place was really busy but service at the bar was good. I can't comment as to celiac but I did not have a reaction; so no gross contamination. definitely coming back.

I'm not celiac so I don't know how gluten free everything actually was. But they offer gluten free waffles with gluten free fried chicken now which didn't disappoint! The gf chocolate chip pancakes were delicious as well.

By the staff's own admission there is gluten flour all over in the kitchen and they will not wipe down the grill. When I visited I was told they do not offer Celiac safe dining merely gluten free pancakes cooked on shared equipment.

We just had breakfast at BGD for the first time. They have gluten free pancakes and waffles!!! I don't mean the fad diet gluten-free. This place understands the waffle iron needs to be cleaned off, the griddle needs to be cleaned off, and a clean utensil used. They understand some of us have no choice, and will suffer if they are not careful. If indirect contact will make you sick, you are probably out of luck anywhere that serves gluten at all. If it takes direct contact (same fryer oil, same cooking surface, same utensil used, etc), this place is wonderful! This is a godsend in a world full of salads and fried eggs for choices. I have no idea what they do to make the batter so fluffy and delicious, but they do it, and they do it well. They have pork belly as well. If you have never tried this stuff, it's a must. There are about two dozen different waffle, pancake and crepe choices on the menu. You can ask for your eggs to be made differently if you don't like the way they are listed on the menu item. I had the Cumberbatch. It's normally two fried eggs on top of pork belly, topped with hollandaise. I like my yolks runny, so that is what I requested. They pancakes were delectable, and scattered with green bits of some herb....perhaps parsley? The eggs were perfect, as was the pork belly. The sauce had orange zest or orange juice...either way...it was too much of it. If they cut the amount by a quarter, I think it would be good. Then the orange would be a hint. As it was, the orange is a bit overpowering. The waffles are huge! A table next to us ordered the fried chicken waffle, and that thing was big enough to serve two! I don't think you could order anything bad here. It's all creative and delicious. The servers all wear black, knit hats. They were very accommodating regarding asking the cook to be careful about utensils and space used for the gluten free order. They don't seat all that many, as the space is on the small side, but it's utilized efficiently. All the tables are wood slab. Some are bench seats, against the wall, some are small wood and metal seats, in the center of the room. There are a row of metal bar stools up at the counter. During the winter, with the glass, garage door closed, there is a good amount of echo, and they play the music a bit on the loud side, so the overall noise level is high, when full, as it was today. By the time we left, half the restaurant had emptied, and it was far less noisy. During the warmer months, when that big door is open, I suspect it is not quite as loud as well. We arrived shortly after nine, on a Sunday, and there was no wait. Parking, all around, is one hour limit, so keep this in mind if you do have to wait for a table. Despite the overpowering orange in the sauce, this is still the best breakfast I have had outside of my home. I will be returning.
